Professional Career
My professional career started with a formal education in radiology, working in various settings throughout NYC. In those facilities I couldn't help but notice there was an immense gap in caring for patients holistically. I was often finding myself refraining from giving my patients health and wellness advice. This was when I began to realize my passion went much deeper than healthcare.
Caring for patients was something I had a natural passion for upon my first day of clinical during college. I believe in compassion and treating one another as if we are family members. Hearing what our clients and patients have to say is another fundamental building block in caring for you. I am a firm believer that we can learn something from everyone.
I pride myself on constantly learning and exploring new information to continue to make the best lifestyle choices for each individual. What worked perfectly yesterday may not be true today. Continuing to educate ourselves while keeping an open mind is crucial in bettering our lifestyles.
Personal Experience
My eldest son had tummy troubles for his first few years of life. Struggling with issues like chronic constipation, refusing foods, speech delays, and developmental delays. It wasn't until I started educating myself on nutrition and lifestyle that things began to improve.
Eventually around age 3, I was able to reverse his autism diagnosis and from there I refused to view illnesses the same ever again.
Together, I will help you come up with strategies to nourish you and your families minds and bodies that are realistic, affordable and fun!
